Ronnie Scarpelli recently shared her homemade banana bread recipe with us and we loved it! Now she's back with some extra tips for us on spicing up your banana bread recipes by adding a homemade glaze.

Banana Bread Glaze Recipe:

For those of you who like a glazed banana bread (and who doesn’t) try this sweet glaze recipe.

Here's what you'll need:

• 1/3 cup softened margarine or butter
• 2 cups confectioner’s sugar (powered sugar)
• 1 ½ teaspoons of vanilla (imitation or real)
• 2-4 tablespoons of water

Mix all ingredients with a whisk (one of those wire hand beaters).

Use a spoon to drizzle glaze on cooled bread. You can put as little or as much as your little heart desires.
