Interview with a Chiquita Banana

Today we've got a special surprise for you. We managed to get an interview with a banana straight from inside his trailer, on the set of his new film "Slip N' Slide."

Hi banana! We're so excited to finally get a chance to talk with you!

Sure. My publicist cleared my schedule for a whole hour for you.: it’s been pretty busy since I’ve gotten into the biz. My upcoming film, "Slip N' Slide," is a hip hop musical and a love story. I'm the star of course, and all the other fruits are my backup dancers.

Oh, um, great. Actually, we're hoping to get a little more personal with you.

What do you want to know? Since you obviously already know that I'm the biggest fruit star in the United States.

Yes, you are banana. Can you tell us your history? Where you came from?

My ancestors were discovered in India in 327 B.C. by Alexander the Great, so we've been around for a long time. My parents are Cavendish and I come from the largest herb known to man, so clearly this makes me the biggest star. Did I tell you that green grapes and kiwis are some of my backup dancers? They’re the best.

Yes, you did. It’s awesome you come from such a great legend! How did you get your start in the business?

Well, everyone knows my suit comes off easily, but that's not what I've built my career on. I met legendary Hollywood Producer Bob Plantain at a party in Bel Air. He was chatting up my sister and admiring our perfect complexion - not a brown spot on my sister or myself, as you can see. Check out my physique, how firm I am. I am the PERFECT banana.

Wow, banana, that's pretty interesting.

It is. I am fascinating. Did you hear about the time I was in an Oscar Arty scored production? The director fell in love with me.

Do you mean world renown composer Oscar Artichoke? No I haven't heard about that. But you've been in a ton of movies and music videos. Everyone knows you.

Yes they do. Some stars say they need their beauty sleep but I just need to be left for a few days, at room temperature of course, to be at my best.

Special thanks to Banana for taking time out of his busy schedule to have a chat with us. We definitely appreciate it. If you want to know more about this star-studded fruit, check out his stats page.
