We first met Chris and Connie when they shared their engagement story of Love at First Sticker. Now, the wedding is only a month away and we’re excited to share this update on their wedding planning process.

Road trips are the best. A few friends traveling on the open road, or maybe you’ve decided to get your family together and hop in the car and go camping. Either way, you’re eventually going to get hungry. Between the sing-alongs and the license plate game (or maybe you prefer the road sign game), someone is going to have to eat.

Fruit inspired fashion and fruit inspired art are two things we’re big fans of here at the EatAChiquita.com blog. You can imagine our excitement when we found a fruit inspired artist, Cathy Wu, who’s merged art and fashion by creating beautiful jewelry from real dried fruits.

There is no banana lover more famous than the King himself: Elvis Presley. Sometimes called "The Elvis" or "The Elvis Sandwich," a peanut butter and banana sandwich is a classic celebrity recipe.

You’ve eaten your banana for the day. You’ve gotten your antioxidants, vitamins, and electrolytes…but what about your plants? Have they gotten the nutrients they need to grow? Last week we interviewed legendary "Top Banana" Ken Bannister on how a roll of Chiquita stickers started what's become a lifetime passion, not to mention an International Banana Club bosting global membership and wholesome, healthy fun. By passing out Chiquita stickers at trade shows, Ken Bannister earned a reputation for loving bananas, and other banana fans responded by sending him banana-related items in exchange for "Banana Merits," the official score-keeping system of the International Banana Club.

This man knows bananas: it’s Ken “The Top Banana” Bannister, founder of the International Banana Club and Museum and lifetime Chiquita chomper (he eats one banana a day, every day). We read about his banana exploits and had to know more: Ken was kind enough to share his story and enthusiasm with Chiquita, and we're here to pass that on to you all, starting with this first post in a series on the International Banana Club, Museum, and activities. Read on to find out how it all got started.

Pretend for me, if you will, that there is a massive war raging inside your body. Imagine little elves and dwarfs fighting alongside man, fending off hoards of monsters and evil wizards night and day. Although there may not be some eternal ring of power inside you, there truly is a constant battle going on in there. Your body is forever aging and fighting against something men and women in white lab coats call free radicals. The good guys? Antioxidants.
